Overview

TextPurify is a text analysis tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do.

Text you enter

Text you paste into the editor is processed entirely in your browser. It is not transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or used for any purpose other than producing the analysis results shown to you on screen.

History snapshots (the list of previously analyzed texts) are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device.

AI models used for sentiment analysis and semantic relevance run locally in your browser using WebAssembly. No text is sent to any external model provider.

Account data

If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password (or OAuth provider identifier) in our database. We use this information solely to authenticate you and associate your usage limits with your account.

We do not sell, rent, or share your account data with third parties.

Usage data

We collect minimal server-side logs for operational purposes: request timestamps, response codes, and character counts processed via the API. These logs do not contain the content of your text.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to maintain your anonymous or authenticated session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe handles all card data; we never see your card number.
• Hugging Face — model weights for on-device ML are downloaded from Hugging Face CDN on first use and cached in your browser.

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
